STAFF

ALI’s staff are the most important part of the professional service we provide.

ALI is proud of the staff we attract, ALI staff are chosen for their professionalism, group management skills, personal interest, training and skills in the outdoors and their interest and love of working with people, especially youth. Careful selection and continuous training ensures that each program can meet its aims safely and effectively. ALI staff are certified or equally experienced in the activity they are running on program.

Staff are chosen according to guidelines as set out by the following government and industry bodies:

  • NSW Department of Education and Training
  • NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services
  • ACT Department of Education and Training
  • ACT Department of Environment and Heritage
  • The Adventure Activities Standards
  • Relevant peak industry bodies such as Australian Canoeing, the Professional Association of Climbing Instructors (PACI) and the Australian Professional Snowsport Instructors (APSI)
