Thredbo ski resort is located within the Kosciuszko National Park which is regarded as Australia’s Best Year Round Alpine Resort. In summer time Thredbo's major attraction is that it is the closest access point to Mt Kosciuszko, Australia's highest mountain. In the winter Thredbo is renowned as Australia's premier alpine resort offering the longest runs, the steepest chutes and the highest lifted point in Australia.
We use Thredbo Ski Resort exclusively during the winter months to conduct our on snow program. During the summer months the resort is also used as a launch point for walks to Mt Kosciuszko.

DWA - Disabled Winter Sport Australia is a multi-faceted, self-help sporting organisation founded in 1978 by Australia's first Paralympic skier Ron Finneran and Canadian instructor Bruce Abel. The purpose of DWA is to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to enjoy winter sports and, equally importantly, to enjoy the magnificent environment that is Australia's Snowy Mountains with fellow skiers.

The Outdoor Recreation Industry Council of NSW (ORIC) is recognised as the Peak Body for the Outdoor Recreation Industry in New South Wales, representing the interests of outdoor recreation users in NSW, and assisting the outdoor recreation and education community by providing representation, information, services, resources and training. ALI is a member of ORIC and is committed to having a united industry with a peak body overseeing the that safe practices and guidelines are adhered to by all outdoor education / recreation operators.
