What – Fundraise a minimum of $1,000 for HopeStreet & trek over 30 kilometres of trail
We invite you to individually raise a minimum of $1,000, to collectively raise $100,000 for HopeStreet while raising awareness of the work we do to bring hope and change to many people experiencing homelessness or marginalisation in Sydney’s inner city.
Why – Offer hope to people living with disadvantage and distress
Put on your walking shoes to make a difference. Glimpse what it is like living with your feet as your main source of transportation while fundraising for HopeStreet programs, which empower people to confrontcomplex issues and to explore pathways toward positive change.
When – Friday 2 March to Sunday 4 March 2018
You will arrive in Jindabyne on Friday for your first trek in the afternoon. Saturday will take you to the top of Mount Kosciusko. Then Sunday you will complete the three day challenge with a morning trek before returning home.
Where – Kosciuszko National Park
You will sleep with the team in bunk style accommodation in same sex quarters at Action Learning Initiatives (ALI), sharing communal meals from arrival Friday dinner to departure Sunday breakfast.
Event registration closes on 31 December 2017.
Registration fee of $450 includes:
- Two nights of shared bunk styled accommodation at ALI (maximum 6 per room)
- Meals from Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast
- Celebration dinner on Saturday with all TTT participants
- Three pre-mapped hikes led by a professional guide
- National Park entry
- Chairlift passes
Team leaders will provide further information to help you prepare for your trek closer to departure.
