Customised Program Design (aims and objectives)

From the very first phone call or meeting, ALI will be taking your desired aims and objectives into consideration when designing your program. Each Program / Camp we run is uniquely different to meet each schools needs. Whether it is a Geography field trip, outdoor education program, leadership course, ski or snowboard trip or retreat each camp is designed to meet your specific needs.
You will either be able to choose between a Centre Based Program or a Journey Based Program. With either program ALI allows you to choose a combination of activities to suit your desired outcome for your students. Programs and activities can be based at our accommodation centre (Bungarra Alpine Centre), expedition based run in the Kosciusko N.P or a combination of both.
Program Types include:
Sequential Outdoor Education Programs
In close consultation with key staff members at your school a sequential outdoor education program is developed based on a clear set of aims & objectives. It is a program that recognises the need for different outdoor education experiences, locations and providers. It allows schools to develop a holistic approach to outdoor education. It can be written for years 4 through to 12.

School Retreats
Numerous schools use the ALI site for school retreats. Jindabyne is a great place for reflection, refinement and planning for the future. Schools use our site for spiritual retreats, leadership retreats for Yrs 11 and 12 and Peer support training and development. ALI will custom design you retreat based on your desired outcome for students. We specialise in the facilitation of Initiative and team building activities, futures work shop and leadership development. Or should the school wish to run its own program and activities we can provide accommodation and meals and as much or as little support as you desire.
School Ski trips

Package snow trips are offered for groups of 20 - 170 students and can be 2 - 7 days in duration. These trips are designed to allow students to experience skiing or snowboarding with school friends and peers in a safe and controlled environment.
Experienced ALI staffs insure that all aspects of the trip are covered. Packages can be designed to include syllabus content.
Peer Support Programs and leadership programs
ALI can assist you in the training of peer support leaders or help your school facilitate your own program by providing accommodation and meals.
Yr 12 can be an overwhelming experience, a leadership program helps Yr 11 students moving into your 12 understand their roles and responsibilities as leaders of the school. We can help with our tailored leadership programs looking at what makes a good leader, your schools expectations of leaders. Great teambuilding and initiative games to develop problem solving skills, self confidence, group dynamics and their own qualities and skills as they strive to become future leaders. The ultimate goal is to help them take away their own ‘bag of tricks’ equipping them to become leaders of the school.
