Name: Paul Gardner
Position @ ALI: bike and hike guide.
Work History: Program Manager for Disabled WinterSport Australia from 2004-2010, owned and managed a Ski & Snowboard store in Canberra and have been doing guide work for ALI for the past 6 years.
Favorite outdoor pursuits: Bike riding, skiing, relaxing,BBQ’s, hanging with friends/family, swimming, ski touring.

Name: Scotty Goddard
Position @ ALI: Scotty is one of our Group Leaders / Activity instructors
Work History: has worked 2-3 season as a Snowboard Instructor and Outdoor Guide in Australia and Europe.

Name: Sarah James
Position @ ALI: Sarah does a mix of outdoor fun stuff like being a bike guide as well as some indoor administration work.
Work History: Managed and owned own business for 10 years, 7 of these years was a bakery outlet with my sister (yummy cakes and coffee). A tree change to Jindabyne 4 years ago lead me into the Outdoor Education Industry and I love it!

Name: Rob Gant Thompson
Position @ ALI: All round good guy….! As well as specialist white water and open water Canoe/Kayak Guide and guide for just about any other activity ALI has to offer (Hike, Bike. Archery etc).
Work History: Has worked in the Outdoor retail industry off and on from the early 90’s until today. Has over 5 years experience in teaching and guiding outdoor activities, including white water canoeing, kayaking, abseiling and rock climbing. Rob has experience working as a bike mechanic and has worked for ALI for many years.
Favourite Outdoor Pursuits: Exploring and kayaking steep alpine creeks and rivers in the snowy mountains, mountain biking, Telemark skiing, hiking and camping in the mountains and coastal regions of southern NSW.

Name: Emrys Meijer
Position @ ALI: Mountain Bike Guide and Assistant Hike and Campsite Guide
Work History: Emrys has been working with ALI since 2007 and during the last few winter seasons has been working with Disabled Winter Sports Australia to assist participants in their snow experience.
Favourite Outdoor Pursuits: Loves being outdoors and doing anything active, especially wakeboarding, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, rock climbing and riding her dirt bike – she’s a pretty busy girl!!!!

Name: Stu Preston
Position @ ALI: Team Leader & specialist activity guide for white water canoeing, hiking, back country skiing etc.
Work History: In his life before Outdoor Education Stu worked as a carpenter and spent 10 year working for the Department of Community Services with youth at risk and children with disabilities. He got into the Outdoor Education Field and has been working on cliff faces, in canyons, on rivers and out in the snowy back country for over 7 years.
Favourite outdoor pursuits: anything to do with having fun in the outdoors, including climbing, white water kayaking, hiking, snow snow snow and a bit of mountain biking!

Name: Miff Page
Position @ ALI: Program Administrator
Work History: Miff is a trained Registered Nurse, who has also worked in Sales and Marketing in the Alcohol Industry which led to her starting her own Visual Merchandising company. After having 3 children, her family left Sydney for a farm in the Snowy Mountains. Since being in Jindabyne she has worked with Jindabyne Sport & Rec in a similar role to her position at ALI.
Favourite outdoor pursuits: Skiing, skiing and more skiing. And when the snow melts, tennis, lazy days by the lake and mowing – gotta love that ride-on!
